i'm looking for a good harddrive enclosure in which to put the harddrive :)
the drive is a WD3201ABYS which is described as "Huge capacity loaded with enterprise-class reliability and performance."
The Drive should do the job as backup medium.
however, the enclosure i have at the moment is not that good of a thing (its a cheapo sarotech).

the drive should theoretically only be accessed on tuesday and saturday (automatic backup with chronosync).
however, it spins the harddrive all the time, no matter wheter it is used or not, and its getting quite hot in the enclosure (since it doesnt even have a fan).

    so, my question:

does anybody know a good enclosure for sATA-to-USB, that has a good cooling system (altough not too loud since i have that thing about 1meter from my bed away), and only spins the harddrive when needed and should not be too pricey?

Try the IcyDock enclosures. I have three and they are silent (fanless), and the drives spin down when not in use. Two have WD 750gb Caviar drives and are very cool running.
