Anyway, Novalis' oeuvre is quite small, so why not read all of it and decide later what you want to study in detail?

Georg Philipp Friedrich von Hardenberg (1772-1801), better known under his pen name Novalis, was a German poet and writer of the early romanticism. Liked to use big words and lots of adjectives.


There was also a German prog-rock band during the seventies called Novalis:
