Hardrive lock

I have a late 2013 Macbook pro with the azerty keyboard.Setting up the hardrive lock I typed the password using the numerical buttons without the shift key which means it used the symbols instead of the numbers.Now after a restart it shows a screen with the padlock but when entering the password I created it doesn't unlock.Any advice please?

By the way: I was pretty sure what the reason had been. I was just too tired that day to explain and stopped writing. Just wanted to help now as I saw the thread up again... But now I don't like to do it anymore.
