Hardware Monitor crashing Mac Pro?

I have used hardware monitor on my laptop for the past 6 months with no issues but when I tried to run it on my new Mac Pro yesterday, it immediately crashed the machine and I had to power down. Its done it twice now.

Anybody ever hear if this?
