Hi. I have a PowerMac G5 and need to purchase an internal RAID card to create a RAID 1 mirror of the system drive...one that will allow me create a Hardware RAID 1 mirror, not software RAID through OS X. Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations?

Thanks

A couple companies make Hardware RAID cards that work with Mac. Highpoint, and Areca. However, Highpoint cards aren't true Hardware RAID- they rely on your CPU for their power and that's rather uncool. Sorta a quasi-hardware setup. Areca's are expensive but are true hardware RAID. And as I hear, really, really awesome.
