hardware test macbook pro

I'm willing to sell my late 2012 macbook pro for bodyparts, my screen is broken.

I wanted to make sure everything else is working fine before I sell it.

I tried the apple hardware test but I can't connect an external screen

is there any other software out there that I can use?

if you are comfortable enough to open the mac and disconnect the screen you will be able to run the test on an external screen
