Are you referring to sound quality?
I have not used the Home Pod, but I have used the Soundstick III for years....
They have really good lows, and decent highs. The mids are the weak link of it, and could be better.
Yes sound quality. I have the sound sticks and wonder what HomePod is like in comparison.
I don't know since I have not used Home Pod, but I would hope that the Home Pod would have a better quality sound.
The Home Pod costs a lot more than the SoundSticks, and the SoundSticks are much, much older design.
I'm not sure, but I think the sound quality of the Sound Sticks have not changed since the original.
About the Sound Sticks missing mids, many smaller sound systems and sound bars also have that same issue. I wouldn't be surprised the Home Pod has the same mid issue.
