Anyone else with a harmony having this issue?
I press the all devices off button on the harmony and the atv4 goes off and pops back on again.

I know it goes off automatically like 15 minutes later but to get the atv4 to go off when im done watching the apple tv I have to hold the siri remote monitor icon down and then slide up on the pad and press it . . . then the atv goes off.

I tried a few delay settings but no changes would turn it off with the rest of my devices from the harmony.

I also deleted my old atv device and re-added it as Apple tv (4th generation) which is in the harmony data base already. but no cigar!

Anyone, anyone? Bueller Bueller?

Must be something in the setup...? Could be that particular Harmony model has an issue -- works fine with my Harmony Ultimate One.

Do you have a device such as an A/V receiver between your ATV4 and your TV? In my case I have an Onkyo A/V receiver that seems to complicate shutdown of the ATV4 via the power off on my Harmony One. Both TV and A/V turn off consistently but the ATV4 does pop back on with some frequency. But I quit fretting about it since the ATV4 will go to sleep on its own after whatever preset I have it set to. I believe in my case it's the default of 1 hour? Otherwise the Harmony works great overall but I tend to switch over to the ATV4 remote to take advantage of its advanced features.

Ya, mine is a similar setup but av is not "between". Everything is HDMI as the marantz a/v has 4 HDMI slots.
My PS3 does same thing sometimes. Everything goes off and the ps3 pops back on sometimes.

I know it is some setting change in the harmony setup but I just dont know if its with the delays etc.
Figured someone here must have the harmony 650 and has solved this issue. Thanks for your response to my question though.

Not sure how it's working with your harmony ultimate. Harmony have confirmed it can't turn off the apple TV only power it on. Is it the one with the hub?

My TV powers back on when I end a Harmony Activity
Apple TV has a power management feature that will turn off your media player after a period of inactivity. This may conflict with Harmony control, so we recommend it be disabled.

From the Apple TV main menu, select Settings (gear icon) > General > Sleep timer, and continually press OK until the option Never is selected.

* just tried turning off auto shut off. Same thing. Hopefully an update will fix the issue. For now, my fix is going to be to leave it on the auto 15 min shut off and put a small circle of black electrical tape on the white atv4 indicator light!

Wow, Harmony is totally backwards with that suggestion. The reason people's televisions turn back on is because of HDMI CEC. They need to turn HDMI CEC off in the AppleTV, not the sleep timer. People using Harmony remotes should turn off HDMI CEC on all of their devices because it will cause nothing but issues when trying to use the remotes.

Just put the sleep timer to 15 minutes and ignore the white light for 15 minutes.
