Has anybody got charged yet for in-store pickup?

Has anyone seen charges for instore pickup through Apple for ATT X?

I don’t have any pending or money was never held..:-/
 
I check my Bestbuy status and it still pending ....

i do call and they said they only charge when iphone ready on nov 3rd

that suck >>

You called who bestbuy? I mean Apple order tho, cause I know a lot of others got charged but that was for shipping not instore pickup...
 
For in store pick up at Apple store, you won't see the charges until the day of. My card wasn't charged till I checked the morning of launch for the 8 Plus.

I ordered my att X through apple store app...for in store pick up using Apple Pay....and I immediately got a notification that my card was charged.

****, that’s what I used was Apple Pay too. But were you a upgrade on Next or full

What kind of order, carrier upgrade or full pay?

Yeah I didn’t get this question. You don’t get charged till the phone ships to your house. Or you pick it up with in store pickup.

Actually, you get charged way before the phone ships to your house (if you choose to have it delivered). As for in-store pick up, at this point none of the apple store has them stocked up. It's not even on their back room where they store products.

Also I checked my credit card for that order that I did my in-store pick up, it wasn't posted till 9/23/17 and I picked it up on 9/22/17. But then mine was on IUP, might be different for full price order.

Paid in full. I got the charge notification immediately as well as a large purchase email from my CCC. However when I check my CC on line....it still shows as pending. It will probably stay pending until I actually pick up the phone.
 
I used Apple Pay in the Apple Store app and was charged immediately.

Full price.

Well some people have already been charged and it’s not shipped or they haven’t picked it up. It also depends on the type of order. ie-Full pay, carrier upgrade

Ok, that’s good to know. But I am a ATT upgrade and I put $100 down which I’m sure isn’t going to Apple.

Ya full pays are different I have noticed. Carrier upgrade is a different kind of order..

I guess that is confusing, cause before it ships or you pick it up. You can see an authorization on your card. That usually drops off after a few days. The actual charge won’t happen till either the item is delivered or picked up. At least from my experience.

Ya it is kinda confusing. Not sure how there billing works since they have many different kinds of orders with 4 different carriers. Oh well, I guess I won’t panic just yet.

I just read about some horror stories of paying with Apple Pay and when they go to charge it days later,it gets rejected cause they can’t use the same DAN number twice so ur order falls off.
 
I’m doing in store pickup in the UK and no charge yet either.
With all the problems people had with Apple Pay for home delivery pre-orders, I really hope it doesn’t mess up when they do charge my card. If it’s the day before that leaves less time to sort it out with the bank!
 
I have in-store pickup for 11/3, paid in full with Apple Pay. Card not charged. It probably won’t be charged until 11/3.

I never got a hold, never got $1 to see if it’s valid. But I did call and get through to Apple sales and they said they see my order as pre authorized. Weird

That’s weird cause Full pays usually get full amount right then. But I also heard some ATT sales don’t go in right away.

I do not think they have ever done a hold on me either, the charge just shows up,at shipping.
 
Ah.... they can’t do a hold with Apple Pay, that’s why my in-store has already gone
