I was torn between upgrading to the 11 Pro and Pro Max from my XS and chose the 11 Pro regular size model so I wouldn’t have to adjust to new screen size, I’m still within the 14 Day return period from when I received the phone in the mail. Does anyone who was done this know if they just have you pay the difference in price at the Apple Store and how much were you charged if so?

I would assume it would be a simple exchange where you’re charged the difference.

With that said, the regular Pro really hits the sweet spot for phone size for me. I owned both the XS Max ave XR and they were both way too big and heavy for me.

They should just charge you the difference during the exchange. Now if you are on the iUP or Apple payments they will have to return the device and sell the new one. At least that’s how they did it for me.

Personally I had the XS and went with the pro max. I’m loving the larger screen. Size hasn’t been a issue. But everyone needs something different. Good luck.

Just did this Monday. Was very easy. I pre-ordered my 11 Pro MG 256GB online. Received it on launch day. Kept it a week and decided I wanted the Max instead. Verified my local Apple store had the 11 Pro Max in MG 256GB in stock. Originally purchased using the Citizens One Apple Payments. All they had to do was return the original 11 Pro, rebuy the 11 Pro Max and change the payment papers. Took all of 15 minutes. Waited longer to get checked in.

What sold me was looking at my 11 Pro and my wife's 11 Pro Max side by side, text on the Max just seemed to be more crisp. Loved the extra screen space for watching videos, and she on average got about 2 more hours of battery life then I was. I came from the XS last year. The extra size and the little bit of added weight take a day or so to get use to, but now on my 3rd day its like holding my XS. Phone feels great with the Apple Leather forest green case on it.

Nope. I'm keeping my 11 Pro. Max is way too big for ME to be portable. I want something that will fit in my pocket comfortably and not look like a ridiculous piece of toast in my pocket. Now if I was 6'8" and had hands the size of small pizzas I would consider it. I have my iPad for videos, games and lager reading at home.
