I have boycotted Samsung products since I purchased my first iPhone last year and have become an Apple "Fanboy."

Apple is moving ahead the electronics industry in innovation that we all benefit from, including Samsung.

I see Samsung like a generic Pharmaceutical Drug Company copying others hard work to make an inferior product that sells for less.

I have never boycotted any brand....A couple of TV's ago I had a Samsung, it was fine...I replaced it with a different brand, and now have a Sony...I don't own any Android products, but I have a Samsung microwave. I would not deliberately boycott any company except maybe MS...:D

Well that certainly would be an un-Apt reference. Generic Drugs are only usually made when the patent expires on the Drug.

If you've bought an Apple product recently, chances are you've incidentally bought Samsung hardware.

Very true, all Apple products have Samsung parts in their gut. So only way to boycott Samsung is to stop buying Apple devices.

    Why?

I choose the product based on how well it fits my needs. I could care less about the lawsuits that any of them do to each other. I'm less enamored with what logo is on the device as much how well it fits my needs.

No, in fact, recent events make me want to buy more Samsung products.

I haven't banned Samsung. If I want a Samsung monitor to replace my current one, I'll buy another.

As for Android, they those phones just don't interest me so I will not nor have I ever looked at one. my iPhone suits me fine.

Probably not. They do some really good stuff. Apple is not the only company that can make a decent product.

Why would anybody boycott either of those products unless they were a fanboy?

samsung are the ones driving innovation at the moment!

The Galaxy S2 and the S3 have kicked everyone up the butt. we should be thankful!

    No.

Both Apple and Samsung (and everyone else) play dirty. In this case Apple were right and they won. No reason to boycott Samsung.

Saying that, If I have a choice between an Apple product and a Samsung product, I'll choose Apple, but that's just because I thing Apple Products are better.

The only Samsung products I own are a refrigerator (Awesome!) and a sound system (so-so)

I'm not even remotely considering any android based products, but it isnt due to any desire to boycott.

I just don't think they are very good.

I'd consider a Samsung product if it was something I wanted or needed.

This is the perfect answer to the OPs question and anyone else who said yes.

Might as well throw out a majority of your iOS and Apple products.

As far as boycotting a product, no one gives a flying monkey poo if you do or don't because one person's measly 600-800 dollars isn't going to make a blip on the radar or a dent in the corporate pocket book.

I buy what fits my needs. Not because it's made by a certain company so no.

I've been boycotting Samsung since the whole Behold 2 fiasco (samsung's first foray into android phones when they promised to deliver eclair and left everybody hanging on donut & crappy touchwiz 1.0) ......... So ummm, yeah

You should see my old moniker on android forums

"President & founder of the DNPSEA foundation."

DNPSEA - Do not patronize Samsung ever again.

    from wiki -

No, I don't have any of their android products but I do have a few things like TV's and blue ray players. I was REALLY liking some of there appliances but they were a bit out of my price range back then.

Besides my Apple products are oozing with Samsung parts.
