Hi has anyone bought a iPhone se 2022 or iPhone 11 recently? Like in last few months. If so what iOS did it come with? Is it iOS 15 with se 2022 or iOS 13 with iPhone 11? Or did it automatically have the new iOS 17? Please let me know. Thanks.

Total by Verizon SE 2022 from Walmart back in September 2023. Came with iOS 16 (forget the exact revision).
I just ordered a Straight Talk iPhone 11 from Walmart last week so I guess I’ll soon see what that one ships with.
For what it’s worth, we have no issues with iOS 17 on our phones (including an older SE2).

Hi thanks for response. How come u ordered the iPhone 11 since u have the se 2022 out of curiosity? Will be very interested to see what iOS your 11 comes with.
Honestly, I’m just using the iPhone 11 as a big iPod touch (plus occasional travel phone).
I’m still keeping my SE 2022 as my daily driver.
When will u be receiving the iPhone 11? Is there iphone se 2nd and iPhone se 3rd the exact same screen? Thanks

What do you mean by exact same screen? Mind, I’ve had display variations even on the same model iPhones (warmer/cooler tone). I’m not too bothered by that. The SE2 and SE3 both have LCD and afaik neither have PWM which is good enough for me.
The pmw issue is a main reason why want to stick with lcd screen. I will check back with u and see if u hit the 11 and what iOS is on it. It says 11 originally comes with iOS 13. Thanks for your help.
I don't think it's a new production it's just where all the 11 trade ins are being sent for reconditioning.
iPhone 11 is being sold as new from prepaid carriers in the U.S. It's normal and we've seen this long tail end from past devices since at least the iPhone 6 era.
In India, the iPhone 11 is being sold as new by major retailers like Flipkart in all colors and storage capacities. You can see iPhone basically has a 5 year tail end.

Works just fine for me.
As mentioned, I’ve previously used iOS 17 on the iPhone SE2 and that’s fine, too, so I wasn’t expecting any issues.
I literally do the same thing. Newest iOS runs well on both.
