How is that being jackass-like. I can put any wallpaper I want on my property. Except anything that could threat the lives of others, especially in an airport. You are moronic if you put wallpapers like "kill obama" or anything "bomb" in correlation to an explosive device.

I mean COME ON, they are already tickling your gooch. Might as well give them a piece of your mind. Unless you are what Zohan would say, a fageleh.:D

Also, I would never give access to my device if it doesn't have any significance in the scanning process. Just because I'm subjected to show my possessions for the clearance of anything dangerous doesn't mean that they should access my filesystems, whether iPad, Laptop, etc. Seriously, they really don't have any logical reason to access my iPad. What am I, carrying the nuke codes from Russia??? And my comment above would only happen in the thread starter's situation where this was a constant problem, unless it is the same TSA guy, lol. If every TSA agent started messing with my iPad, then YES, I would do the wallpaper thing or maybe even add a prank app from Cydia that would give me 5-7 laughs from the scared TSA agent reaction.

^^^ This guy wants his cavity checked. How many times have we read of the TSA violating someone's rights regardless of what you/others think? They check your cavity (because they can, not because you might be hiding something) and they MIGHT apologize later for the inconvenience (and not because they were wrong). Then, there are the people behind you while you're giving security a hard time and getting your nooks and crannies checked...you're holding them up because the man is keeping you down.

Really, I agree that some of these guys are tools, but not ALL of them are. Security is the price you pay for being/feeling safe. I don't like the security checks at the airport either, but I'm not going to kick a pit bull in the mouth.

I have never had to take my iPad out for screening. Laptop yes, but the iPad is fine.

Then again, I found out that I had a huge tube of facial cleanser gel in my carryon that I didn't know was in there. And it went through security at Reagan just fine. I could suspect that the TSA doesn't see me as a potential terrorist, I am a frequent flyer and have yet to go through a body scanner.

They've scanned it but never looked at it. Never asked me to turn it on. My laptop however is a different story.
