i'm ordering a new MBP and want to sell my old ibook. i was thinking craigslist or ebay, but then i found ifixit. i sent them my info and they came back with an offer of $450. i think that seems pretty good. could i expect to get more on either ebay or craigslist or should i accept it?
i've never heard of them and am not to keen on sending my laptop out to some random company then waiting for them to mail me a check. just wondering if anyone else has had experience with them.

thanks!

They are a legit company that has been around for years in the Mac upgrade/repair business, although I've never sold anything to them.

They are well known for their great take-apart guides for Macs.

They used to be well know as powerbookfixit.com (or something like that), but they changed their name (Was it Apple that made them, or did they just need a better name because they cover a lot more than just powerbooks?)

I'd feel comfortable doing business with them.
