Has anyone felt the Aluminum on the 2021 and later MacBook Pros vs the ones from 2019 and before? The older ones feel more premium to me.

I look at the new MBPs and they just look like tins of sardines to me

My only metric is updating from a 2009 MBP (Silver) to a 2023 MBP (also Silver). I do believe Apple started using recycled aluminium from 2019 onwards and I'm wondering if that's resulting in the tactile difference you're noticing? Or is it the general finish you meant?
