Back in September I posted my issues with the MacRumors MacUpdate promo. Support did not respond to multiple requests via every method that I could devise. This included a complaint to the Better Business Bureau - who rated them F at the time. Only after I posted my problems in a MacRumors forum did I get a response.

Well again I have a problem. The login screen in the application is blank so I can't update any applications. They sent me two acknowledgments that they would respond in 24 hours to my request for support. That was 6 days ago - 4 working days.

So I'm wondering if anyone has ever gotten any support from MacUpdate ...

I have gotten decent support from them. I had an issue when using their desktop app. When version 6 came out I tried the betas and first few releases and they would not work properly with my machine (running OS X 10.9.5). They gave me a bunch of things to try and eventually got whatever is was fixed when they released 6.0.3 - up until then I had to stay on version 5.x.

I also had a recent issue with the desktop app where it kept saying an app I updated wasn't updated. Support worked me through some solutions to try there too. They usually responded within 24-48 hours

I also had bad experience with respond time from MacUpdate. I sent them multiple emails a week and so ago asking to join the promo program and sell my apps, but no respond so far. I searched the website for usual response time, nothing, guess they don't want to commit to specific timeline. There's also no phone number to call to.
Really bad service, not sure if I should be doing business with them.

They took my money last week and have yet to upgrade my account. They have ignored my every attempt at communication for the past 5 days. I'm going to call my bank and have the charges reversed.

Don't EVER do business with MacUpdate.com!
