I've had an iPhone since it first launched in Canada in 2008: iPhone 3G.

Since then, I've upgraded each year: 3GS, 4, 4s, 5, 5s, 6, 6s Plus, 7 Plus, 8 Plus, Xr, Xs Max.

I didn't upgrade this year but will likely purchase an iPhone 11 Pro Max at some point. This means that I haven't owned the original iPhone and the latest iPhone. I also didn't buy the iPhone X but got the 8 Plus that year.

I still have my 3G, 3GS, 5, 6, 7 Plus, 8 Plus, Xr, and of course the Xs Max with me. I lost iPhone 4, and sold 4s, 5s, and 6s Plus.

Anyone purchased/owned all iPhone models?

I’m close. I’ve owned one offs like the 5c and xr.
I didn’t get a 3gs, X, 11 or 11 pro model. I’m really trying to not buy so often.

I’ve missed a few.

I’ve had the 3G, 4, 5S, 6 plus, 6S plus, 7 plus, X, XS max and 11 pro max.

I’ve had one from each series apart from the original.

2g , 5s, 7, XR , 11 PM .. i upgrade every year and have owned the droid razr, razr maxx HD, droid turbo, note 8, S10+ as my in betweens.. idk about y’all but my android experience has been on par with iphone since day 1 .. i still to this day enjoy hopping back and forth between each OS

I had them all sans the 5C, XR, 11, and the XS. I couldn't bring myself to upgrade my iPhone X to the XS. That update didn't excite me in the slightest. I love my 11 Pro Max though!

iPhone, iPhone 3G (white), iPhone 3GS (black), iPhone 4 (black), iPhone 4s (White), iPhone 5 (Slate), iPhone 5s (space gray), iPhone 6 (gold), iPhone 6s Plus (rose gold), iPhone 7 (black), iPhone X (silver), iPhone 11 Pro Max (midnight green).

My phone route has been 3G, SE, Samsung A8, Samsung S10, XS. I wasn't going to get XS but I caught one on a deep discount and couldn't help myself.

I've never seen the value in upgrading each year, or even each other year, especially as I've never gone for a subsidised phone and have always had to buy them outright. Maybe this is the difference. And FWIW, the XS isn't replacing the S10 as my primary phone as I'm faster & better with Android/One UI than I am with iOS even though the latter is rounder & smoother. Hopefully Apple with improve iOS over the next couple years for me to restore iOS as my preferred OS in the future.

Count me in. Had every model with the exception of the 5C. Finally caved and got an 11 pro max since I was able to upgrade already, and with ATT's new just pay 50% and you don't have to wait 12 months thing, which means I'll likely do this again once the 12 pro max comes out. I said I would sit this one out, and this is the first time I did not upgrade on day one, but after the year I've had I deserved a present for my birthday (which is on the 25th) so what the heck.

One thing I did do, which is the first time I've done this in years and years, is install a screen protector. Not taking any chances.

Oh, I missed about the 5c (basically an iPhone 5 with fancy colours) and the iPhone SE.

So there are several that I haven't owned. But I've owned all with different form factors, save for the original iPhone.

Different form factors:
Original iPhone
iPhone 3G / 3GS
iPhone 4 / 4s
iPhone 5 / 5s
iPhone 6 / 6s / 7 / 8
iPhone 6 Plus / 6s Plus / 7 Plus / 8 Plus
iPhone X / Xs / 11 Pro
iPhone Xs Max / 11 Pro Max
iPhone Xr / 11

Which form factor does iPhone SE fall under? 4 or 5?

My android experience is patchy.

I’ve had

Note 1
S4
Note 3
S5
Note 4
S7 edge
Note 8
S9 +
Note 10

Not all but my first was a 3GS given to me at work (boss hated not being able to reach me when my Nokia battery was on its last legs)

Since then I've had two 4's, a 5S (to see if the ugly of iOS 7 got removed later, was wrong!), and now a 6S. Not planning on upgrading anytime soon. "if it ain't broke don't fix it" if what I live by.

I got one favorite Android device (De-googled too--you'd be amazed the battery life with Play Services gone) that I'll likely go back to if my 6S ever dies/gets busted. My Galaxy Note 2. It has the skeuo UI I miss today, and the S-pen was a neat feature and it's not as big as a Max iPhone. It's in my backup drawer.

Aside that one Note, I've never been satisfied with any Android phone after a few months at best. Either they'd degrade in performance, or just get 'meh' after time. I've been far more satisfied with Apple devices in general.

All the flagship models except the very first. Waited for 3G.

Was much easier and cheaper to do with carrier subsidies years ago. I see little need to upgrade each year now but it’s become a tradition. I’ve been thinking hard of ending it.

Let's see. The only model I have yet to own is the 11. This is not counting the plus models. I bought my girlfriend and I the original in February of 2008 as a Valentines Day gift (hence my join date here) and have upgraded pretty much every year since.

The 5C and the XR I owned for about a day before returning. The 4S I bought later on as a test device but that was the only upgrade I skipped. I have no intention of slowing down. The joy of the upgrade is something I really enjoy, from the keynote to the pre-order to shipment tracking, unboxing, setup, etc.

6 Plus, 7 Plus, XS Max, 11 Pro Max and 11 are the only models that I have not owned/used. As you can probably gather, I'm not a huge fan of plus model devices (although I have tried 6s Plus, 8 Plus, and Xr).

3GS,4,4s,5,5s,6 Plus,7 Plus,8Plus,XS Max, 11 Pro Max

I no longer have any of these except an old 5s 16GB that was my wife's. Trade in values for it are so low, there's no point.

Totally agree. It was a lot better before due to subsidies. Now, I pause for a bit before forking out $2K on a phone when the older one works just as well.
