iPhone 12 Pro Has anyone scratched the back glass of their iPhone 12 Pro/Max

So i got the 12 Pro Max on launch day and bought a case. It was a cheap case from ebay that has clear backing. Well today I took the case off to remove my sim card to test 5g with my buddies sim. I saw a scratch on the back glass. I tried to clean it but it wont go away. Not gonna make a big deal about it but didn't think the back would scratch so easily.



Anyone experience this yet?

Nope. Had mine since launch day and was caseless until my silicone one arrived today. Did a wipe down and no scratches on front or back or steel bands. 12PM Pblue

Looks like there was dirt between the phone and the case. Like sand or something hard.

I’ve had mine since launch day and I took it out of the case just yesterday and the phone is still in pristine condition. I’m sorry that happened! Must’ve been some type of debris that got stuck between the case that could have scratched it

Glass easily scratches. With phones, it is best to reisgn yourself to the fact that sooner or later, your phone is going to get a scratch somewhere. Try not to get too focused on that. What is important, is your phone working like it should.

Must of been dirt/sand because I've seen jerryrigeverything try to scratch the back with coins, keys and his utility knife and it did nothing..

My favorite case by far. When I have to take my phone hiking or other outdoor activities I use a clear Spigen ultra hybrid case for more protection..

I had 1/2 inch scratch right of the box. Returned. Poor Quality control.
