On my Macbook Pro ’13 2016 I have a kernel panic & restart every single day now. I have seen a ton of information about people getting it but not a ton of solutions,

I am running macOS 12.5.1 but this has been going on for more than a year.

I have a Dell monitor and Belkin thunderbolt 3 hub both for which has been noted to cause issue.

DELL P2715Q Display

I've tired both displayport & HDMI with the display and see no change. I have also turned off the computer going to sleep.

I have tried a fresh install of the OS a few times and run EtreCheckPro a dozen times to see the

“panic(cpu 2 caller 0xffffff8009b049ad): userspace watchdog timeout: no successful checkins from WindowServer in 120 seconds

Panicked task 0xffffff99b1586a20: 3 threads: pid 115: watchdogd”

At this point I will glady replace the Dell monitor or the thunderbolt hub but I don’t want to buy a new monitor / dock just to have the issue continue.

Is there any definitive fix for this?

I just got this panic for the first time today - on a MacBook Pro 2021 M1 Max. No external displays. The only thing different int he last day or so is I left Chrome running (I usually use Safari). I have read Chrome can be a contributor, not sure if that is true or not.

MacBook Pro 2019 Intel I7.
I have the issue since the update 12.5.1 I've installed yesterday. now I've already had 4 reboots with this kernel panic.
I use multiple external monitors - sometimes via port replicator, sometimes via simple usbc-hdmi adapters; the magic keyboard.
