Just wondering if anyone has done this yet and what speeds they've clocked?
just a couple of times.
here is a pic when using PDAnet. the help.bm/whatever hack showed comparable speeds.
Here's the speed on the Fido/Rogers wireless network in Canada using the iPhone 3GS' built-in tethering.
Why does it show your server location as being in Springfield, MO when your location says you're in Miami?
no idea. I always figured it was an ATT thing. speedtest.net thru the iPhone sometimes gave me a chicago server!
usually its a georgia server lol
First time I've ever tried tethering with my iPhone.
That's faster than I managed to get connected to WiFi at work! Shows how crap our ISP is!
Here's mine for O2 in England:
I'm not sure if O2 has 7.2Mbps HSDPA, but Fido/Rogers here in Canada have already implemented 7.2Mbps HSDPA.
