I think the Alpine Orange and Starlight bands become dirty too quickly. Has anyone tried cleaning the Alpine band? To me, it looks like it might fade when washed. Maybe put a small amount of mild detergent in the washing machine on the delicate cycle to clean Alpine bands?

I originally ordered an AWU with an orange Alpine Loop....but seeing I had to wait for a few more weeks for it to be delivered, I pulled the trigger when a green one became available locally. Now that I have the green one, I have zero regrets. Green just stays green when dirty. And even if I can't clean it 100%, it will still look OK.
Orange is nice, but green is clean :p

YOU are not alone. I just washed my alpine bands (orange and starlight) today in the sink with antibacterial soap because when I stopped by the Apple Store and asked for directions after noticing there weren’t any on the box , they told me it was washer safe. I just don’t want to damage the titanium parts of the Watch.

Someone I know says he showers with the band on and that keeps it clean.

Take the Alpine Band off the watch before putting the strap in the washer and you won’t damage the titanium parts of the watch.

The band itself has titanium as well. I assume that’s what they’re talking about but who knows. LOL
