Has anyone tried to put a Pioneer DVR-A08 in their G5?

I want a faster DVD burner in my Powermac G5 (first gen Dual 2.0Ghz.) Assuming that it can be replaced (I think it can) I'd like to stick this drive in there:

Has anyone tried it? Does it fit? I am concerned about the decorative but potentially too large front bezel on the unit. I would be nice if it did fit though, the silver would look quite snazzy inside of the G5.

I recently upgraded to an DVR-108 in my Quicksilver '01 and all I had to do was pop off the bezel front of the tray to have it work with the QS drive door.
