iPad Pro Has anyone used an SSD via USB C ?

Just wondering if anyone has used a USB C SSD or even a hub to the iPad pros with success. I was thinking of getting the 11 inch 64GB and when needed could use an SSD Drive. Wondering if it’s stable under iOS 13

I've used a 5GB Samsung T-5 SSD via USB-C on my 2018 12.9 Pro and it works well except for issues with an immature Files app, e.g. it can't handle video files > 4.3GB. The SSD is great, Files needs work.

I have a Samsung T5 1TB that I use with my iPad. Works great and no issues.

I don’t know. I use a USB-C hub so it’s charging while I’m using accessories.

For university, I put a PowerPoint presentation on my Samsung T5 a couple of weeks ago and connected it to my iPad Pro and it detected the PP and opened it up with no problems.
