I’m tempted to go with a silicone over a leather case for my iPhone X. The only thing that worries me is in the past I’ve had the silicone split on the bottom corners which I’ve seen is a common problem. I haven’t used a silicone case for a couple of years but wanted to know if they’ve changed anything to prevent this happening?

I like to take my phone out it’s casr every couple of weeks and clean the dust and dirt out so if they’re still tearing easily it might not be best for me.

nah since the 7 Plus versions that splitting issue hasn't happened for me. Got the exact same one I had for the X (white silicone), only thing that is new is that the buttons match the color of the apple logo. great case but always slippery until it gets broken in.

Have the purple - it's pretty awesome. Can't comment on changes - first one - leather always previously

Don't even go there! I have had for my 7, 3 silicone cases the first when it broke I took back and the manager argued with me then gave me a replacement then they kept breaking but I didn't fancy any other case at the time... Currently got one on my X but I just ordered a Spigen clear bendy one see how that goes...
