Im really close to buying a 3GS. I just don't want to buy it with these battery problems going on. Has an official statement been released?

I haven't heard any formal statement, but it's worth noting that not everyone has the battery "issue". Out of the millions of iPhones sold, I see less than a million threads on this.

What battery issue? This is a forum, people complain, thats what people do on forums. Go and purchase your 3GS.

There are no battery issues. Jesus.

You should be fine. Go buy one, the small amount of 3GS iPhones that are out there should not be a problem.

Haven't really seen complaints other then on this forum. I think it's a very limited issue. I'd go for it. Actually, I did. You should too.

no point in waiting, buy now.. if you do have a problem it can be fixed without any problems..

My had a 3g since February and I have a 32gb 3gs. Battery life is about the same on both of them when you compare equal use. Anything network is the biggest battery killer

There would have to officially be a battery problem first shouldn't there? Like others have said, this is a forum where people complain and some make things up to complain about. I have seen maybe 25 people complain on here about their batteries. I believe maybe half actually have something to complain about.
