Has Hardware Ever been Introduced at a WWDC Before?

Just a question.

Typically WWDC only introduces software I thought. It would be odd to introduce a 3G phone at a typically software event, right?

My bet, it will be introduced a few weeks leading up to WWDC. 😉

Hardware has come at multiple WWDC events, and as iPhone development will just be truly kicking off, its as good a time as any to release a 3G phone.

Note that Walt Mossberg just said that there will be a 3G iPhone in 60 days.

Well, in 2006 the Mac Pro and new XServes were released (Im not sure if the XServes were relaeased or only announced that day). But yeah I wouldn't be surprised if we saw an iPhone release this year at or around WWDC (June).

He might be right.

But then, he also stated last June that we'd get Flash support not long after launch.
