Navigating around the UI on iPhone X definitely feels a bit more herky-jerky than iOS 13 for me... there’s dropped frames here and there and I’m wondering if it’s just me.

curiously, I’d say my 6S+ has gotten a bit MORE responsive on 14 - at the expense of heat and battery. Feels like it’s always working hard but delivers a nice experience.

let me know your how fluid your experiences using iOS 14 have been in the poll? Also feel free to comment the device you’re using and your experiences to see if there’s some correlation and connection or if these may just be random X.0 bugs

Noticing what occasionally feels like some slight stutter and even lag using an iPhone 7.

More janky.

But on the other hand, 13.7 is less janky than 13.0. And I’m sure the last version of iOS 14 will be a lot more fluid than 14.0.

Yes. And it’s FULL of bugs unlike the betas earlier. My Magic Keyboard magically now shows an onscreen keyboard in addition to it’s physical one (even though I keep turning that off). Text input in generally is super sluggish. The return key has a second delay now (physical or virtual). Rebooted thrice already since the update. So pissed off by Apple rushing this thing to get their non-updated new watch out.

For the first time ever, my iPhone X is showing its age and that, too, when I flashed the publicly available IPSW and didn't restore from backup. A few places where I experience stuttering

1. Keyboard typing, bringing up the keyboard for text fields
2. Tagging people in photos
3. Flipping through photos by swiping left and right.
4. Editing photos and videos using the built-in tools

Well, time to switch to the next iPhone.

My XR feels as if the performance is being throttled , my battery is at 96%. Scrolling twitter , imessages feel very glitchy and phone is not snappier either. I've tried complete restore and seems to make no difference.

Also battery life is a bit worse compared to 13....

Seriously Hope apple fixes these issues in the next update 😤

Mostly, smoother but every now and then the wallpaper will start flickering on the home screen after swiping between pages. Very odd

For some reason since iOS 14 when I sometimes go to the app switcher on the iPhone 12 Pro it jitters somewhat latest iOS 14.3

Since iOS 14.5, my iPhone has been stuttering after about three days of a restart. Scrolling stutters, the camera app tend to crash when taking a picture. Re-booting the phone works to an extent — for another three days until it stutters again.

Latest OS has dodgy laggy keyboard clicks constantly in safari… anyone else experiencing this?
