If you're asking if I think the 13" MBP is a worthy successor to the 12" PB, then I say yes.

I think it fits well. GPU on the 12" powerbook before its demise was the geforce 5200 64mb, which was really crappy in its time, the 9400 sits much better as a low end GPU in comparison. The only dumb thing is audio in being the same jack as audio out, you can't tell me they couldn't make room for another 3.5mm jack.

The 13" MBP is lighter , thinner and more powerful for its time than the 12" PB. So id say yes.
