And that's why we haven't seen production leaks yet? Since the Apple watch is so customizable with multiple variables--case size, case materials, bands--do you think full production hasn't started yet? Perhaps Apple needed to see how many orders were placed for each model/band combination before they started churning them out?

Or maybe this is just wishful thinking from someone with a 4-6 week delivery window hoping for his watch sooner :D
 
for the first batch of watches to be out on the 24th, production has to started already. But I thing theres more to it due to the different type of bands or straps available. Also, I imagine there may be yield issues due to the glass they are using for the watches.
 
Since there are already zillions of pictures of finished watches out on the Internet, there's probably little reason for someone to risk punishment for violating their NDA by leaking production images.
