Has the Apple TV gotten hotter since the last update

had my apple tv 4th gen since release date would walk by occasionaly and wipe dust off the top of it during use netflix, youtube etc. Felt like comfortable warm water. Walked by today and did my usual wipe of dust off the top and it felt hot, like apple tv 1st gen hot. Anyone else notice this.

Mine is the usual lukewarm after the tvOS 9.1 update. On other words, no change.

No change with mine... Still cool to the touch after hours of streaming.

Huh, my Apple TV hasn't been touched since I set it up.

Are you having any issues with your Apple TV? If not, I wouldn't worry about it.

Wanted to give an update since last night. So my apple tv emded up staying hot all night. Even while in sleep mode, the device was ridiculously hot. This morning, i unpluged the power and hdmi cables, left it unplug for 5 minutes and repluged it back in. Went to shower, came back and the temp felt normal again.

I can only guess, but it was probably a bad startup that caused the temp issue
