I spent a lot of time and setup to rip 180 movies that I really never watch most more then once. It was really just a hobby. Anyway, I decided to pick the TOP 10 and then purchase the HD Version (better then the DVD) and never looked back. Since then (years ago) I have added 90 more. Honestly still do not watch most more then once or twice. Sometimes I buy because I do not want to wait for the rental option. Also, I am still a sucker for the "bundles". Like the Star Wars for around $90 which I did watch all of them "once". But maybe they will be watch my other family members when they visit.
