Has WatchOS 1 been abandoned?

But this is simply a side effect of notifications going to the Watch instead of the iPhone if the latter is locked.

No kidding. I am not asking why my iPhone reverts back to making sounds, I am asking if anyone know why my watch keeps disconnecting. When my watch disconnects from my iPhone, I would expect it to start making sounds again.

So if your Watch is connected to your phone, the phone is automatically muted? Not the case for me.

When my watch and iPhone are paired and connected notifications, taps and dinger, come through the watch for everything except a phone call, my phone and watch will ring. That is fine with me. When my watch decides to disconnect from my iPhone, I am not surprised why my phone starts acting just like it did before the AW.

Putting all that aside, I am trying to figure out why my watch keeps disconnecting from my iPhone. Just happened again about an hour ago. So twice last week and now twice today it is not holding the BT connection.
