Has your GPU Died?

Logic board replaced on my June '07 SR MBP 2.4GHz 256MB VRAM due to failing graphics card. The Apple Genius only had to take a look at the crash log I had printed out to send it in to be repaired.

GPUs run a little hotter in desktops too, which is nothing to worry about.

I voted that my 2.2 died but so did my 2.6 SR.

****, my 2.2 died and they replaced it with a 2.6 SR. I guess considering my usage patterns (fairly hard on the hardware) mine'll probably die again then.

Judging from the poll seems like last years model mbp with the merom cpu has died the most..

Maybe its just too early for penryn model gpu to crap out?

Seems like a lot of people dont really have any issues. That is pretty good. It would be nice if we can get some more voters...would be nice to have about 200-500 people vote so we can get an idea of the issue. Keep on voting!
