Has your GPU failed?

The thing is that if your GPU fails and it is still under warranty, they will probably replace the logic board, but my concern is that it is just a temporary solution, it will probably fail again later and probably you won't be covered by the warranty anymore... we need a real solution here!

Good point.. it'd be interesting to see what Apple are doing with defective G86 machines because, as you say, replacing the logic board would be a temporary solution unless they upgraded the GPU or fixed the root cause of the current issue.
