Has your OEM lightning cable melted?

polls are so overused/misused here. why can't you just tell us what happened? so tired of seeing polls like "did your fedex driver named Pete deliver to the wrong house in Alameda County on Sept 24th?"

do you really think a poll about melting cables is going to unearth some previously unknown trend? if there were a lot of melting cables, there would tons of threads pages long, and the blogs would be all over.

I never had any issues with my cables.

I haven't had a melt, but my cable has spontaneously fallen apart and wires are exposed. Would have melted had I not stopped using it.
