I think it's clear that Apple wants you to have an iPhone and a nano. The nano seems to get some upgrades that are later ported over to the iPhone and then the touch. The new video filters, FM tuner and pedometer would be things that you would have expected in the iPhone first but Apple appears to save those small features to keep the Nano fresh.
Right now I'm debating myself over whether to get one. While the iPhone can do almost everything I need it to do, the nano is small and has less chance of breaking during workouts. This is not even including that there new models are absolutely gorgeous.I will probably end up getting one but I wish they would have increase the capacity.
I think it's funny that the shuffle hasn't come up in this thread. Apple should just get rid of it and introduce a cheaper nano for the same price point.
