Anything in UPS hands today should be delivered well before the 17th. Just doesn’t make sense for it to take 8 business days. If it leaves China to AK, that’s one day. Then from there to Louisville. That’s one day. From there to destination is 1 more day, max.

Why would it go to ONT? It should go Louisville like the other ones. Mine is stuck in INC since yesterday morning. I hope it’s just UPS taking too long to update. Doesn’t make any sense to be taking that long.

Still no movement on my 256GB Silver T-Mobile AND AT&T iPhone X's. I'm starting to think they really might get delivered between Nov. 17-24, like Apple says. I even got both my preorders in at 12:15 a.m.
That is where the flight plan ends. ICN>ANC>ONT From what I can tell reading through and my own research, little to no freight is moved off the aircraft while in ANC. ONT is the west coast regional hub and my speculation is that what's onboard is mostly going to that region, but who knows.
So strange. Mine was originally Nov.17-24th, but I woke up this morning to a T-Mobile text message stating my order had shipped. I go into the T-Mo app to track it and it says "projected delivery Nov. 8" and I then see in the details that its already on the truck out for delivery. So incredibly fast.

My iPhone is currently in South Korea, i was hoping for my phone to be delivered on Friday, but I guess I’ll have to wait until Monday! When should I contact UPS to have my package held at a UPS center? Should I do that now? And should I ask to have it held at a UPS center or an UPS store near me? I don’t want it to get delayed! Thanks

Mine went into preparing for Shipment yesterday afternoon, then switched to “Shipped” overnight. Tracking info shows that it’s in the clearance process.

Not the store - most stores only get their deliveries at end of day - that could cost you a day.
Hold it at your local UPS CC. I'd call, rather than doing it online - and I'd do it now rather than wait.
Edit: If they give you the song and dance "we must try one delivery first" just be persistent - tell them that you're leaving on that day and need to snag it in the morning, otherwise you'll be unavailable for a week. (ok, maybe a fib...but worth it)

Quoting my own post. First order has shipped with delivery of 11/14. Second order (placed 3 minutes later), is still in progress. Weird!
Mine has been sitting in Incheon, Korea for over 28 hours. Is it possible that UPS missed a departure scan??

Well, if you use your tracking number, you can see the status of your package on their website. Right now it should have an exception status (that will clear once the hold has been processed). If you sign up for UPS My Choice, they give you options to do a lot of this online (plus allow you to see a number of incoming packages for your address without having tracking information).Done! no change yet, but i did call apple and give them a piece of my mind, and told them about all the other people with shipping date into December that have gotten their phones already, and all the people who preordered later then I did who have gotten their phones... why would i ever preorder anything with you again. I made it clear i have showed your company loyalty as an iPhone user since day one, and you have shown me nothing in return. The rep told me there was nothing they could do about the delivery date but offered me a free item for my phone... they gave me the $99 leather portfolio case for free, with overnight shipping.

So weird. Mine was originally nov 17-nov 24, changed to nov 16-nov 24. Got an email Late Sunday night/early Monday morning saying it was shipped to be delivered by 11/10 and it has been stuck in Incheon since yesterday morning. Last time i order the iPhone 7s my ups delivery progress was all over the place until i got the email saying it was out for delivery. It might happen he same thing now.
