Have any 11/17-11/24 shipments been bumped?

AT&T here. Currently have this situation -- not sure what any of it means or what to expect, but there is at least some movement despite customs.

I was slated for 11/17-24 and have been updated (through Apple) as 11/20 delivery. UPS is showing an 11/15 delivery on their website.

If yours has not shipped yet, I'd try a local store. If you really don't feel safe without it being held with a reservation, you could always reserve it under someone else's phone number. That way, you can get any carrier you like. When you get the phone, simply take out the sim and use your sim. Then, call your carrier and let them know what IMEI of phone you have. If you need to order this without paying full cash and with using a carrier plan or the IUP, it's a bit more complicated.

I am joining the IUP on both orders. I would have already ordered for in store pickup if there wasn't the risk of not resetting fast enough via calling in.

I have only seen stock of the silver once since it was available many times last weekend. The SG is popping up a lot now but not silver. My SG shipped already.

Finally got my credit card charged for the tax. Still OIP status and no notifications from Apple. My order number starts with 554.

I was put on a reserve queue around 315am on 10/27...and got my order in at 6am.

Well I initially had an arrival date of 11/14, but UPS has bumped that back now to 11/15. Apple's website has said 11/17 all along so UPS is still a little more optimistic.

The reason that UPS bumped me back a day is that, for over 24 hours now, "The package is awaiting clearing agency review. / The package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release." in ZhengZhou, China. Perhaps it is being held hostage until President Trump leaves the country? :)

No bump per se yet, but after my pre order 22 mins into the pre order time frame, 256 GB silver paid in full, I finally this morning got my credit card charged (still pending) and Apple card depleted ($100) for the full amount of the phone. Been in preparing for shipment since that time. I saw no movement at all prior to this morning. I would expect either tonight or tomorrow morning around same time as my prep for shipment, with then a more exact delivery date, which will likely be prior to the 17th and def prior to the 24th. I’ll keep you posted as to the specifics as I get more info.

First time IUP user here, seeing that stores around me in Chicago have been getting stock in lately and as a result, considering ending this annoyance of 17-24. If I cancel my IUP order will I be subjected to a second credit pull if I try to sign up again for IUP? Is there a wait period I would face if I canceled my existing preorder since I am new to IUP? Beyond annoyed that I can't switch my order online to a product that is available in store now...

I was told by an Apple rep that I would have to wait a week. That is false. If not for that rep I would have canceled my IUP Saturday morning after launch and reserved the phone that was available at my local store and be enjoying my iPhone X right now. Sadly mine won't be here till Monday.

The official story is that it can take up to 24 hours, but I have seen people do it 5 minutes later and it goes through. You will also need to wait for your carrier to release the hold on your phone #. That usually doesn't take long. Like I said, people have canceled with IUP and within 15 minutes have another phone reserved for pickup at an Apple store, but they make sure and warn you that it COULD take up to 24 hours. So....

As for the credit check, because it is the same company, and it is within 30 days of the first check they should be able to use it again without hitting you with another hard inquiry. I have heard of people getting hit twice, but I also have heard people saying it was just once.

My phone was on the same flight! I hope it makes it onto the Anchorage flight UPS85 and gets its tiny little body down to Southern California for Friday delivery...

I'm now at delivery date unknown, though my phone's been cleared out of Hong Kong. I'm going to be optimistic and believe that that unknown date means I'll get it early next week.
 
Hey everybody, Thought this update would give you a guide when you all will get your iPhone X. Mine was a 11/17-11-24 with T-Mobile and on iUP. Got charged on the 3rd and today waiting for my delivery. The part i did not like was my phone was stuck in Incheon, KR for a few days and didn’t know when I’ll get the phone. Originally it was a Monday, November 13 delivery. But changed to out for delivery today.

My phone has been in the same UPS holding pattern it seems. Hoping it hits the first UPS flight to KSDF shortly and I may still get it tomorrow....

I hope your experiences will be better than mine. My cc was charged on Monday. Order status changed to preparing to ship. Since then nothing. No movement whatsoever. No notification from Apple. No tracking available from UPS. Can’t cancel order. Spoke with Apple rep. Nothing can be done. I’ve now moved to the preparing to ship hell.

I can only pray for the both of us we ship out tomorrow morning. Seeing some people are stuck and others are moving maybe they solved the problem and will get things sped up a bit.

I am ATT and I just got preparing to ship and I live in Kentucky so I am sure itll be before the 17th. Or atleast I hope.
 
I hope everyone ordered their 3rd party accessories already. I got all mine before the phone was released and the prices immediately increased $1-$5 right after release

Live in NJ got charged and preparing to ship this am. Also, ATT, 256 GB silver paid in full. Originally 11/17-11/24, hoping sooner than that obviously.
