Just wanted to update everyone!
I contacted Apple (1800-MYAPPLE) and spoke to a online store manager and explained how furious I was that my online order changed from 11/14 - 11/21 to 11/20 - 11/28 after my CC got charged. That's pretty much almost the end of December and I couldn't wait any longer. Manager wasn't very helpful at first and told me all he can do is contact me if he sees any changes, he said he would also keep an eye out for any iPhones available in store around my area and contact me incase I wanted to switch to in store. I pretty much ended the conversation with being stuck in a crappy situation. After the phone call, I randomly wanted to check to see if there were any inventory in any of the Apple stores around my area (San Francisco,CA) and immediately saw that there was an AT&T Silver 256GB in Berkeley, CA , I immediately emailed the manager a screen shot of the available stock and he actually went out of his way to contact the store and asked them to hold it for me. He contacted me by phone to update me of the hold at the store, we immediately canceled my IUP preorder and I drove down to the store to pick it up (Apple Store specialists were weirded out how my iPhone was put on held for me as they do not normally do that)! I love my new iPhone X. I don't think I will ever pre order again. Finally get to stop worrying and get back to normal sleep.
P.S, it was my first time opening an IUP account and was worried that Citizen would do another hard pull on my credit (Since I cancelled and opened another loan) but that's not the case as they use the first hard credit check for up to 30 days.
