Can’t find anything through tracking. I’m starting to feel that I’m gonna get mine on the 24th. Like I was the last person to get my phone in the 2-3 week slot

Wow! Happy for you guys! I'm starting to wonder if something will change for me.

I got to the "We have an iPhone for you" point in the order process and took a screen shot of it 12 minutes after the ability to order started (3:12 am here on the East Coast). Getting a Verizon 256GB Space Gray. I used the Apple Store app on my iPhone.

I was able to order one for my son before that, using his iPhone. His phone got to the same point - "We have an iPhone for you," at most, 3 minutes before my phone reached that point. He's getting his on November 3 and I'm in the Nov 17 - Nov 24 slot.

This is getting depressing. So many people have moved up and/or already been shipped. Apple has reduced shipping times for orders placed as of tonight. The some model phone that was reservered for me 12 minutes into the pre-order time is now shipping in 3-4 weeks. Heck, that could ship before mine arrives.

I must have pissed someone off.

Last year with the 7 Plus in Jet Black units were becoming available in-store in October while I was staring at my 11/11 ship date. I eventually snagged one locally. It was baffling to me that there were units available for retail but not for shipping to me.
 
So i called apple...and this dumb girl says “whatever you see, is what i see.”

I said “nov 3” (i lied to her)
And she said “oh yeah...so that’s what i see as well.”

And then i said “why am i seeing nov 17.”
She goes “let me go on the computer and check...”

Stupid customer service. I trolled her...

I am sure they're being inundated right now, but it makes zero sense to lie. I chatted with customer service two days ago regarding a payment question, and the person I spoke with told me completely untrue information. This was only confirmed when I chatted with someone else two days later and was told nothing changed, and that it couldn't even be changed via chat for security reasons. I wish I took screenshots of the original chat. I thought of it literally as I closed the window.

Also, for the record, still sitting at 17-24. (My payment questions were not related to shipping at all)

My problem with calling Apple customer is (just 15-20 minutes ago), they are not really looking into the situation, but providing customers b.s.

Yeah, I get it. I mean, I've worked customer service and had the feeling of "just getting off the phone to get through the day," but that's not a good thing, and it's not something that should be done to people. Sorry you had a crappy experience.

I'm watching everyone else post about their 11/10-11/17 shipments getting bumped to nov 3, while mine is still sitting at the 17th. I'd be fine with getting bumped to 11/10-11/17 at this point...

EDIT: Technically the 1st batch is 11/3, second batch was 11/7-11/10 and third batch was 11/17-11/24, but now that 11/7-11/10 got bumped to 11/3, the 11/17-11/24 is now the '2nd' batch. After writing this out, it would be logical that the 11/17-11/24 would be moved to 11/10ish because they are not going to stop shipping for a week. Just thinking optimistically :)

NOTE: We've concluded that order numbers are not sequential therefore just because you have a lower/higher # doesn't mean yours was placed before/after someone else.

Yes, mine was originally 17th-24th and now it will be delivered on Monday the 6th
 
No bump in my delivery of Nov 17-24, and just left Apple Queens Center and there are already about 20 people in line outside the mall, I’m going to wait it out for mine to be delivered.

It’s almost 2018, this should not be so hard honesty.

What time is urs coming? Lols mines 11/3

One tomorrow and the other the following week. Either way I’ve done without the X and don’t know what I’m missing. So another few days or weeks isn’t going to crush my world. You on the other hand, it’ll probably shatter your world if you didn’t get on release day. Too bad you couldn’t use that money on proper English lessons. Maybe even some classes on how to be more mature. ;)

It's my first time calling them in such a long time though. I get it as well...the workers are overwhelmed as well. Thanks anyway though.
 
I was 11/17-11/24 and was then bumped to 11/16. It took until late in the day today to get charged and get moved to Preparing For Shipment. It hasn't yet shipped.

Same for me... and I think a bunch of people. Here's my theory based on what I'm seeing compared to what my wife is seeing (who has always had an 11/3 ship date). Once the device leaves the factory (it's origin scan) the status is updated to "Preparing for Shipment". It won't leave this status until it goes through customs (the "Clearance in Progress" status many are seeing by using an order number to track). I must say I was a little hesitant to believe an order number used as a reference number works, but compared it to my wife and it does appear to be correct (although the destination city is not correct – it has Fresno instead of San Francisco).

My guess is the customs piece will take 2 days, based on what I see on my wife's order:

Once that's done, looks like about 3 days to get the rest of the way. I also still have the 11/17-11/25 ship date, but I'm guessing that's because it was scanned prior to an Apple rep updating the date manually.

i did this, entered my order number (menus the 2 last digits) and the system shows me another shipping information about a product delivered on texas.. didn't work for me

im in miami..
 
You have to enter your zip code too. Otherwise, you will get other packages like this one that aren’t yours.

I can't believe people are actually calling Apple to complain and taking up the phone lines. If Apple told you 11/17-11/24 and now it is 11/16 or earlier....they are overdelivering on their promise. It is almost impossible to deliver them to everyone at once. Some have to go before others. There are lots of criteria that can go in to that (shipping destination in relation to the distribution rout etc.). We all want the phone but it sure seems like many are mad at apple for using every opportunity to get the phone to as many people as it can

Just curious, on UPS under reference numbers, is your phone number listed there as well?
