If so, can you see if your AT&T Wireless hotspot is working?

thanks,
arn

My wireless hotspot has been working since IOS 4.3 b1 and I have the tethering plan on my account.

Ok I'll admit that I'm very ignorant when it comes to tethering so hopefully you can help me out with this question.

Do you HAVE to have "tethering" on your plan or could I just use tethering with my current option as long as I don't go over 2gb of data per month?

I realize it uses a lot of data, but I would be using it very sparingly.

Your provider has to enable tethering on your account for it to work. Some providers around the world enable tethering at no extra charge, but most make an extra charge for it

Ahh I see. That sucks. Thanks for the info though!

Usb?

I am trying to setup my MacBook Air for usb (wifi works) tethering and it won't connect on my MacBook Air. Network Pref's states "Either the cable for iPhone USB is not plugged in or the device is not responding."
Any ideas?! I was going to call Apple
