Have I bricked my iPad?!

    Hi guys,

    So I have an iPad 2 and an iPad mini. I gave my iPad 2 to my gf and we added her apple account to it.

    I recently changed my email address and updated it on my ipad mini (which was a drama in itself!), but didn't update it on the iPad 2.

    Anyway, we had to re-set the ipad 2 as we were giving it to my gf's parents, however, when we went through the setup procedure it said it was already linked to my old email address and wanted the password for it. However, this email address no longer exists on the Apple servers so how do I get by this?? If I go to the 'forgotten password' section of my account and enter my old email address in I get the message 'b**********m*****m.me.uk is not a Apple ID' - so are we stuffed??

    I would hardly call that bricked... just contact apple support
