The iPad will be used for both photo work and artwork. Any recommendations for screen protector that gives just a bit of tooth for the stylus but not quite as "matte" as say Paper-like? The challenge is the protectors altering the colour a bit. Any suggestions?

Is the screen protector really paper like ?
Sounds a lot like paper in a sort of ‘dulled’ sense. Feels like writing or drawing on a ‘proper’ matte screen would normally feel like, so not entirely like paper, but not too dissimilar. This light diffusion doesn’t feel like it’s out of control. It’s really transformed the iPad as a drawing and editing tool, and the whole thing feels better to touch as well. Great addition.

How does it handle fingerprints with the protector, is it better or worse to clean?

I use icarez matte screen protectors. Highly recommend for use with Apple Pencil. Not a good judge of color but I spend hours a day reading on mine.

I'm okay with just a bit of tooth added and doesn't have to be like sand paper. Your choice is one that also had my interest. I just don't want to lose too much detail or see colours differ too much from no screen protector. I do get that matte will be less glare and a touch dull or flat.

Paperlike 2
What is the difference between the original and "2" ?

Icarez for me. Papaerlike is good too. Check YT for comparison videos between the two. Both work great. Both install easy. I haven’t had any AP tip issues with either. Icarez is cheaper.

Any other Paperlike like recommendations? I‘ve had an order with them backstopped for 6 weeks and they just changed to state they can’t ship to the US for another month.

A big one - the 2nd Paperlike has something they call “nanodots” that produces a cleaner image without the rainbow effect. I love the 2nd one a lot more than the 1st one.

How about durability? It’s been mentioned you may have to get a few if you use your screen a lot? I use mine 10 hours a day at least (it is my work machine) and I just took delivery this week. I really do like the matte finish and the promise of re-invigorating the Apple Pencil experience has been delivered on, so far. Almost like using it for the first time again!

But I have noticed that instead of fingerprints, I get more like smudges (I wash my hands religiously since this pandemic to the point of drying out my skin to cracking almost - so I’m not gross 😁) - do they wipe off like you can clean off fingerprints?

So which one makes the Screen Display colours look less washed out ? Matte or Tempered Glass ?
