Have a new iPod Touch and am having trouble connecting to the Internet.

Have a Mac and Airport is operating ok but each time I try connecting i Pod it keeps saying unable or password is wrong. I have tried every password I have and have contacted IP which is Orange (France), trouble is my French is not brilliant and I don't understand what they are on about. They keep mentioning "adminadmin". Well I am the administrator of my Mac.

Any ideas

maybe there telling you thats your password? or that your username is admin and your password is admin?

Yikes

If your network router still has the default password, I recommend changing it as soon as you are able. If you live in a densely populated area (like an apartment building) some clever neighbor might figure out that password and start sponging network services off of you.

It sounds like the tech support people want you to access the Airport router via the Mac, to check what type of security encryption is active on the Airport (WEP, WPA, etc.) and to see what encryption password is. To do that type http://192.168.1.1 as the address in a web browser like Safari or Firefox. To get to the security information, you will have to provide a pw, which by default is "admin"
