A jailbreak does not cause tweaks to break. They are broken because Apple moves files/components in newer firmware releases. Since tweaks replace Apple's files/graphics with modified files/graphics, when Apple relocates those files to new locations in their file system, the tweak developer must update their tweaks to match Apple's new locations.

What do you mean exactly? I just meant did the new jailbreak cause any issues w the functionality of iOS in general, not jb tweaks.

    no, it doesn't

I do notice sometimes that I have problems with rebooting on my iPhone 5. On the other hand, my mom's iPad 3 has no problems with rebooting

I'm not sure if it has to do with using flipswitch's reboot toggle or not. Problems meaning that it looks like my phone is in a boot loop, but the worst i've seen it is a third reboot before booting up properly

I should try a normal shutdown and restart and see if that has the same results. will report back

Instead of attacking him like he's crazy, ask him to clarify. It's obvious by the question you asked that you don't understand what a jailbreak is. So instead of responding in such a manor, ask for clarification.

Sorry I didn't mean to sound like that at all, hard to read tone in text.

Understood. I'm often found guilty of sending wrong tones in comments too. ;-)

Jailbreak itself doesn't slow down your device. It depends on the tweaks /apps you install. So choose wisely.
