Have to direct download everything?

Hey people

basically, whenever i try to download something, it'll go onto the successful download page, but won't actually pop up saying 'run/save/ or whatever.

i use Safari, only way i can download things is to alt+click direct links

anyone know whats wrong with this?

Do you have any extensions installed? One could be blocking a script or some content.

When I click on a download link in safari I never get asked to run/save...it just downloads to Downloads folder and then the .dmg will mount for install.

Are you meaning it doesn't download at all?
