I am lucky enough to have two iPhone Xs, one for personal, the other for work. I just got the one for work yesterday and it is on a different carrier (ATT) than my personal one (Verizon). I noticed right away that the brightness levels are different despite having the same settings on for both. One also is more cool toned than the other. The icon bar at the bottom of the screen also has a different, more opaque background. What is going on? I want them to be the same. I don’t it will make a difference, but my phone is Space Grey and the work phone is Silver.

For color, check the true tone settings.

For brightness, check auto brightness settings.

For the dock, check the reduce transparency setting in the accessibility settings.

Thanks, I adjusted all of those to be exactly the same on both phones most but one is warmer in color than the other. Is there a way to make them the same?

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

There are some other settings you can play around with under Settings > General > Accessibility > Display Accommodations (like color filters). There's also Night Shift that might be involved in all of that (which can also be adjusted to some degree).
