I usually just let them keep the change at Starbucks to put in the tip jar. If I kept the change I'd just usually lend it to a friend later in the day who probably wouldn't pay it back so yea, they're nice anyways and always have my drink ready for me.
 
I throw small coins into an empty 3 litre vodka bottle at the end of every day, so getting small change doesn't bother me. It builds up and every so often it gets cashed in.

It's getting full again in time for little Miss 26's 2nd birthday.
