- a dead Accrington cricketer
- a third rate unsuccessful North American bit-part actor
- a construction engineer at ASU, due to graduate on the 17th December this year ... good luck to him
- a Business Performance Measurement researcher who works about 10 miles from where I live (scary)
- a long jump athlete, representing the county of Hertfordshire
- a pilot who lives in North Somerset
- a reasonably ranked u-18 snooker player in Kalamunda, Australia

I gave up looking for myself at that point .........

Only one on the first page is me, and it is towards the middle.
1 on page two,
1 on page 3, but from a forum post,
2 on page 4, 1 from a different forum,
none on the next couple of pages.

Any hits when searching on the username you use here? ;)
"Vader" just gets tons of Star Wars stuff, but not the real me.
If I put my name in also, then the first 15 out of 21 total results were me, but at other forums, not this one though.

Pretty unique name here too, plenty of entries on google, but even with speech marks, the majority are alternative first names (mark etc)...

Only one entry for me, which is related to work, which is cool!

I googled mine & discovered I used to be a roadie for Hawkwind.

I'd completely forgotten about that......

ROFL!!! That's too funny...

I received 356 returns...I've done this before. There's a CEO/Founder of some computer company, several athletes in high school (news stories)...I only find myself via a couple of web sites I created.

I have several times, also pictures...

I come up in my schools newsletter

I don't know that it's always vanity surfing, I mean how else are you gonna be able to tell if the space monkeys have you slated for abduction? I vote for paranoia surfing...oh yeah, :D

My grandmother comes up a few times first (we have the same name) with her church and local newspaper. It's a fairly common first name in Germany but with an American last name, it becomes a lot less common.

My website comes up in 6th in the top 10, out of 805 hits. That's the only one that's me, apart from a review I wrote of a bike rack for a website. I'm also a lawyer in the Thomas Jeffeson School of Law, a Legal Professor, a Science and Sequencing Technical Engineering Aide for NASA, a business and tax attourney, some sort of media contact at a hospital, a high school student and, irritatingly, a graphic designer.

Hey, not done that before. 33,400 hits!!

I share my name with:-
  • A Major League Baseball Player
  • A Professor of Landscape Architecture
  • A Purveyor of Antique Maps
  • An Author of New-Age Religious Books
and

  • I have a cemetary named after me :)

P.S. I don't care if you have all seen this thread before. I've just learned something new.
