Offering this rebate as Apple credit was the smartest thing Jobs could have possibly done. Just look at the result. They are making so much more money from it.

You got that right. Not only did they get all the money back they gave to the early iPhone adopters, but much more! I took the $100 credit and went and spent ~$375!!! Heeeeeeelllllooooooooo
TV!!!!! Of course, its already hooked up and Im watchin some music videos streaming from both my MBP & air disk via my -n network. I LOVE technology!!!Same here! I kinda expected it though since my had my unit exchanged and the purchase date was reset. I'll be hollering in to apple after work to give them a piece of my mind.
